Llama canopic jar - from an ongoing exploration drawing inspiration from the canopic jars of ancient Egypt.
It is a sculptural object - not built to hold liquids… or ancient vital organs!

Hand-built by Abigail in flecked stoneware, glazed.
The llama’s head has been built from found wood, carved and with burnt detail. It’s neck is adorned with sea-washed fishing net.
Each vessel is a single, unique artwork - you will receive the piece shown.
