Marmot canopic jar - from an ongoing exploration drawing inspiration from the canopic jars of ancient Egypt.
It is a sculptural object - not built to hold liquids… or ancient vital organs!

Hand-built by Abigail in flecked stoneware, glazed.
The jar is supported by a collection of sticks, glued into the base - some painted, some spalted driftwood.
(They are fragile - handle with care!).
Each vessel is a single, unique artwork - you will receive the piece shown.
